Texas A&M shows their support for the state of South Carolina

Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

SEC Sports: Texas A&M plans to donate proceeds from their sales of 12th man towels prior to their game against the Gamecocks, to the South Carolina flood relief effort. From the effort LSU made, to now this, it just goes to show, that although many people may doubt sportsmanship in high-level sports nowadays, it's still there.

The Big Spur: Who should South Carolina look to, in order to solve their problems in the red zone? To start, Perry Orth needs to make better throws. Then, the receivers need to catch the ball when they have the opportunity. There you go, problem solved.

Gamecock Cereal: Podcast: Handing out midseason awards. I imagine Pharoh Cooper won every single one.

The State: Looks like Shawn Elliott and his staff will be spending the bye week doing the one thing college football coaches know best; recruiting. I'm going to be interested to see on Monday if any other recruits drop their commitments. That would be a telling sign of Elliott's recruiting skills.
