TheBigSpur: Thompson gets promoted. There was some good news yesterday, as former Gamecock quarterback Dylan Thompson was promoted up from the practice squad. On a significantly less cheerful note, Gamecocks fall to Bulldogs in back and forth fourth quarter.
GamecockCentral: Death by a thousand rushes. Scott Hood begins this by saying that any chance Elliott had of making his position permanent is gone. Also, The Citadel locker room report.
TheState: Thumbs up, Thumbs down. Most of the bright spots are individual players and it's a real shame that they're having to suffer through this. And, Gamecocks' latest loss was no upset. Kendall: "There are plenty of unflattering ways to describe what happened Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium. The most damning, and the most accurate, is this: it wasn’t an upset."
ESPN: The Citadel shocks South Carolina with late rally, pulls road upset. The last section of this is title "Uh, what?" which was also my immediate reaction to the TD being called back. This was closely followed by collapsing back into my seat in despair.
BleacherReport: South Carolina's loss to Citadel shows Gamecocks could be in for rough future.
Post&Courier: Another shocker: 25 years later, Citadel stuns Gamecocks again.
GamecocksOnline: South Carolina travels to face No. 15 seed UC Santa Barbara. The men's soccer team plays in the second round of the NCAA tournament tonight!
