South Carolina Gamecocks National SIgning Day 2015: Remaining Targets

New, 10 comments

With only a few hours left until NSD arrives, there are still two main targets for the coaching staff.

With NSD fast approaching and the 2015 class pretty much set in stone, there are two prospects that are still on the coaching staff's radar for 2015.  The first is 247Sports three star Rashad Fenton, who I mentioned in Monday's article.  He is currently slated to decide sometime before NSD and the Gamecocks are supposedly in the lead, ahead of the Florida Gators.  With three star defensive back Damon Arnette switching his pledge to the Ohio State Buckeyes last night, Fenton will help replace the loss.  Though he is not as tall as Arnette, Fenton is a solid get, and should help leave NSD as a better note for Gamecock fans.

The second target won't commit until after February 27th, and that is Prince Tega Wanogho Jr.  The native of Nigeria was originally classified in the 2016 class, but decided to join the 2015 class.  Currently he measures at 6'8 and 280 pounds, and is a four star recruit based on 247Sports rankings.  Prince will be a difficult prospect to land though.  He has already visited the Auburn Tigers, and Tennessee Volunteers and is scheduled to visit two more schools before visiting South Carolina on the 27th.  Tega did suffer a major leg injury, so wherever he signs, he is likely to redshirt unless he makes a miraculous comeback.
