UCONN vs Maryland Preview

On the other side of the bracket, the Huskies of UCONN battle the Terrapins of Maryland to earn one of the two bids to the title game.

As we all know our Gamecocks have reached the school's first ever Final Four. However, there's another good game going on in the other side of the Final Four this weekend. UCONN, the cream of the crop in women's basketball, takes on Maryland to determine one half of the championship game. UCONN, as we are well aware, already obliterated Carolina this year. UCONN is arguably the best team in women's basketball this year, with Breanna Stewart leading the way. While Maryland is also very talented, look for UCONN to use their superior talent to pull away late and secure a bid to the National Title game.
