The South Carolina women's tennis squad has been selected to their 21st consecutive tournament appearance -- the 11th longest such streak in the NCAA.

The Gamecocks now have 25 bids in 34 years -- the 13th most in NCAA history.

The Gamecocks will be headed to Charlottesville, Virginia for the first and second rounds.

The 30th ranked Gamecocks will face off against the number 43 Princeton Tigers at the Sheridan Snyder Tennis Center. Also competing in Charlottesville are host Virginia, ranked 10th, and VCU. The winners will face off for the right to travel to Baylor University in Waco, Texas for the Championships.

South Carolina and Princeton have only one prior meeting in 1985, which the Gamecocks won 7-2.

Elixane Lechemia leads the team with a number 43 singles ranking. In doubles, Meghan Blevins and Brigit Folland rank 61st while Caroline Dailey and Hadley Berg lead the team in doubles ranking at 41st.
