How to Pick Your Team for the CFP National Championship - A South Carolina Fan's Guide

Finding a rooting interest in tonight's big game can be difficult for some, luckily we've created a fool-proof diagram to help you identify which team you should cheer on.

What a strange time to be a Gamecock.

Two years after defeating our hated rival's then-best team in 30 years, we were riding high. Another 11-2 season in the books. Third straight. Things were looking up and a preseason Top 10 team was for sure on the horizon in 2014.

My, my how things have changed. Here we are in 2016 and those same hated rivals, the Clemson Tigers, are poised to play for their first national championship since 1981.

While new coach Will Muschamp and his crew of ace recruiters has added some excitement to the offseason, it doesn't really help ease the pain of watching those Tigers from the Upstate play for the ultimate prize tonight.

Do you root for the Palmetto State or cheer for a conference cohort? Continue to blast a sworn archnemesis or hope for the evil empire of Alabama to be taken down?

For some, it may not be easy to pick a team to support in tonight's contest. Lucky for you, I've done more exhaustive research and create an easy-to-follow diagram below to help you pick your allegiance.
