Hey guys, I hope all of you are staying safe. With Hurricane Matthew hurtling toward the coast I am going to keep this version short and sweet.
Last week was not pretty for the digi-Gamecocks as they fell to the digi-Texas A&M Aggies by a 52-17 score. The actual on-field results were a bit better, but the Gamecocks still eventually lost. Let’s see how our quick simulation of the Georgia game went!
I don’t expect Brandon McIlwain to start this week, so I put Perry Orth at QB1, but I also made sure digi-Brandon was QB1 on specific packages. Apparently this QB tandem is exactly what the digi-Gamecocks needed, as they took the Bulldogs to the digital woodshed. The Gamecocks jumped out to a 17-3 lead at half and it only got worse for the Bulldogs from there. Nick Chubb was stifled in the running game, Jacob Eason had a sub-par night with 3 interceptions and a fumble, and Perry Orth had the night of his life.
Final Score: 34-3, South Carolina
