You tell us: Mississippi State or Georgia a better matchup for South Carolina in SEC Tournament?

Both teams own wins over the Gamecocks in the regular season. But who would match up the best against them tomorrow?

Tonight's Georgia/Mississippi State tilt will determine who will take on the third-seeded South Carolina Gamecocks in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals tomorrow. It will set up to be an interesting matchup since both teams have beaten the Gamecocks already this regular season: UGA won both times that they played the Gamecocks while Mississippi State split the season series - with each team winning on their home court.

If the Gamecocks end up playing UGA, the old "It's hard to beat a team three times in the same season" adage will come into play. Granted, while Carolina fell 69-56 at Stegeman on February 2, the second matchup at Colonial Life Arena was a little closer, with the Gamecocks losing 74-72 a week ago today. That was in spite of forcing the Bulldogs into 19 turnovers.

For Mississippi State, the Gamecocks will have the comfort of playing a team that they've beaten already. But as we've seen this year, Carolina has had a tendency to fall in contests that they had no business losing (Alabama, Tennessee in Knoxville, Mizzou). There's also the possibility that they'll be without Michael Carrera tomorrow (hip injury).

What do you think? Who would you rather see in the SEC Tournament - Georgia or Mississippi State? Vote in our poll and let us know why below in the comments.
