After losing to Mississippi State on Saturday and falling to 23-6 (10-6 SEC) on the season, the Gamecocks are looking to bounce back and earn a win in their final home game of the season. A win tonight would give the Gamecocks a 16-1 record at home this season, with the loss to Kentucky the only blemish on the record.
In addition to tonight being a chance for revenge against the 15-12 (8-8 SEC) Georgia team that beat South Carolina earlier in the season, it's a chance to honor the seniors for the contributions they've made to the Gamecock basketball program. A big crowd is expected to be on hand to send Brian Steele, Michael Carrera, Laimonas Chatkevicius, and Mindaugas Kacinas out in style.
