South Carolina (23-7) vs. Arkansas (16-14)

It has been a long, but successful, season for South Carolina and it all comes to an end Saturday afternoon in Arkansas. The Gamecocks will face-off with the Razorbacks in the final game of the 2015-16 regular season for both programs.
USC takes a two-game losing streak into Saturday's contest. A week ago the Gamecocks lost to Mississippi State in Starkville. Earlier this week, South Carolina dropped their home finale to Georgia. Frank Martin's team shot just 34.2 percent from the field and let Georgia's backcourt do whatever it wanted on Thursday night. Poor shooting performances and and even worse perimeter defense has been this team's undoing in its seven losses this season. Kenny Gaines and J.J. Frazier scored 20 and 19 points, respectively, in Georgia's season sweep of South Carolina.
Arkansas enters their Senior Night on a four-game winning streak. While UGA was one of the conference's best defenses, the Razorbacks feature perhaps the SEC's best offense. Arkansas ranks second in the SEC in scoring (79.3 PPG). That number increases to 84.6 points per game in home contests. The Razorbacks also have the best 3-point field goal percentage in the conference, making 40.4 percent of their 3-pointers on the season.
Arkansas is paced by Moses Kinglesy (16.2 PPG) but they also receive significant contributions from Dusty Hannahs (16.0 PPG) and Anthlon Bell (15.9 PPG). Since South Carolina has such trouble with opposing point guards, Jabril Durham is one to watch as he holds the set-up responsibilities for this offense. His 6.2 assists per game is only second to Kentucky's Tyler Ulis in the conference. His 1.7 steals per game ranks third in the league.
Since Texas A&M beat Vanderbilt earlier today, the Gamecocks would earn in a double-bye in next week's SEC Tournament with a win on Saturday. Arkansas has won the last two meetings and three of the last five. USC's last win over Arkansas came in the 2014 SEC Tournament. Their last win in Fayetteville came in 2008.
The Gamecocks have struggled mightily all season on the road. Might they break their road woes as they enter a crucial postseason? That'd be a hell of a momentum swing.
