Ulric Jones

RS Junior
6'6", 295 lbs.
Oxford, AL.

Recruitment:
Consensus 3-Star defensive tackle. Offers from Oregon, Alabama, USCw, Maryland, LSU, and others. Rated as the Number 9 defensive end in the JUCO class of 2014.

College Career:
Played two seasons in Kansas with Butler Community College. Logged more than 50 tackles for the Grizzlies. Named as an honorable mention All-Conference player in the Jayhawk Conference. Committed to South Carolina and has taken reps on the practice squad as both a DT and TE.

2016 Outlook:
After a solid tenure with the BCC Grizzlies, Jones has seen practice time on both offense and defense in an effort to find his place on the roster this fall. He's slated as a defensive tackle, and has made great strides in the weight room since arriving in Columbia last year. With any luck, Jones can use his size and versatility to impact a Gamecocks defense that is desperately wanting for playmakers up-front.

Trivia:
Ulric is the god of winter, battle, and wolves in the Warhammer fantasy universe. Seriously, the baseball is on, go watch that.
