2016 SEC Media Days preview, schedule, how to watch/live stream, and more

We're unofficially at the beginning of college football season.

Kelly Lambert-USA TODAY Sports

It's the middle of July, and that could only mean one thing: SEC Media Days. All fourteen of the league's coaches, along with three player representatives each, will hold court with a host of media members from literally around the country. The list includes three first-year coaches: South Carolina's Will Muschamp, Georgia's Kirby Smart, and Missouri's Barry Odom. We'll also get a look at predicted order of finish (which usually are very wrong) and the all-league player selections. And yes, PAWWWWL will be there all week.

Forget about the other guys. When will the Gamecocks be up?

Will Muschamp and the Gamecocks will actually start the day on Thursday around 10:00 am ET. Last year, when Steve Spurrier was coaching, he was first up on Tuesday. (I wonder how they pick the speaking order every year?)

Which Gamecocks will be there?

Qua Lewis, Deebo Samuel, and Mason Zandi.

What all should we expect?

Here's a (satirical) look! In all seriousness, plenty of coaches saying a lot while saying nothing at all, non-answers to questions about NCAA investigations, Nick Saban refusing to smile, etc.

The week-long event runs from Monday to Thursday and will be shown live on the SEC Network; live streaming is available on Below is a full schedule and list of player reps for each team (h/t to for the full rundown):
