The first day of full pads means that there’s bound to be some added intensity on the practice field for the Gamecocks. It was also the first day of the full team practicing together after the first four days were spent with split squads between the younger players and the veterans.
In the midst of that, the morning began with a little shakeup at running back...
FWIW, the RB rotation this morning is AJ Turner first, Darius Paulk second, David Williams spectating on first series.

AJ Turner ran with 1st team at RB and Rod Talley went out with 2nd.

Kendall’s right - “for what it’s worth” - as we don’t know if that will be seen more frequently during the next few days or if it’s just for motivation purposes. But Muschamp’s message in doing so is loud and clear. (I wrote about this re: David Williams yesterday.)
At QB, Perry Orth was with the first team, while Brandon McIlwain was with the second team.
Injury updates
Evan Hinson (meniscus) and Stephon Taylor (labrum surgery), who had been held out to recover, were back on the field today. Deebo Samuel, Bryan Edwards and Dante Sawyer were held out of full practice. No word on the reason, but Edwards had been recovering from that knee injury he suffered last year (although he was in the spring game). Larenz Bryant also didn’t participate, while K.C. Crosby (chest) was in, but with a yellow jersey. Alan Knott still isn’t at 100% (hand), but practiced wearing a club.
Music report
According to man on the ground Mike Wilson (from SEC Country):
Sensing a theme in tone-setting music. Nelly's "Here Comes the Boom" and Future's "Stick Talk" back to back at South Carolina practice
