TBS (247) - A.J. Turner knows he needs to make plays ($$). The freshman RB had a chance to speak to the media on Wednesday afternoon. Plus - Confidence rising for K.C. Crosby. The TE had his first score of his career on Saturday; let’s hope that is a sign of good things to come. Speaking of TEs, another TE - Jacob August - hopes his role continues to grow.
USA Today: Former Gamecock Darian Stewart’s wallet is a little lighter after he and Brandon Marshall were fined for their hits on Cam Newton. Here’s the video if you missed it from last Thursday. (From an objective standpoint, that was pretty intentional.)
The State - Slow-staring South Carolina seeking first-half fix. This team has been awful in the first half of both their games thus far. Muschamp will be holding their feet to the fire on Saturday against ECU - and beyond.
Greenville News - Offensive line has work to do. Enough said.
Hoops talk from The State - USC among schools targeting elite in-state talent Zion Williamson. Looks like both Will Muschamp and Frank Martin are in the hunt for big-time talent. Even more hoops talk! Carey Rich from TBS had a chance to chat with the men’s basketball team yesterday ($$).
