After suffering a tough defeat on the road at Texas A&M, the South Carolina Gamecocks return to Columbia to face the Arkansas Razorbacks as narrow underdogs.

The betting line indicates this is viewed as a tossup, with the Gamecocks tabbed a 2-point favorite when the line first opened, but with Arkansas now holding that advantage. The Razorbacks are coming off a 42-24 drubbing of New Mexico State, which was a confidence boosting performance after their own brutal, overtime loss against Texas A&M the previous week. Quarterback Austin Allen is looking to get back on track after what has been a largely underwhelming season for him relative to expectations. And, of course, the Gamecocks are very familiar with running back David Williams, who has enjoyed some success with the Razorbacks since transferring there.

The over/under is set at 47.5. South Carolina is 3-2 against the spread this season, while Arkansas is 2-2.
