The South Carolina Gamecocks are in for their toughest test of the season, as they travel to Athens to take on the newly-crowned No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs. Fortunately, they are also in good health. Former and oft-injured cornerback Akeem Auguste will guide you through who’s likely in and who’s out for the Gamecocks next Saturday against Vanderbilt.

Zero Augustes - Full go!

One Augustes - Should play, but won't start

Two Augustes - Game-time decision

Three Augustes - Questionable

Four Augustes - Unlikely

Five Augustes - Out

Cory Helms — Zero Augustes

The offensive lineman returned from an ankle injury against Vanderbilt after missing several weeks to recover, but aggravated it and was taken out of the game. It appears the move was just precautionary, though, as he is set to start against Georgia.

Malik Young — Three Augustes

Another offensive lineman who’s been struggling with ankle issues, Young appears closer to making it back on the field, but there hasn’t been an official update on his status.

Terry Googer — Five Augustes

The wide receiver remains on the shelf after his concussion against Texas A&M.
