NCAA Basketball: South Carolina at Vanderbilt

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

Hello, friends.

Tonight we celebrate a tradition like no other: Gamecock sports teams letting us down.

It's as old as time itself, heck, it might be older than time, but that's what makes us who we are...

This past week, the South Carolina Gamecocks suffered gut-wrenching setbacks in both men's and women's basketball while the baseball team endured a strange (but okay?) loss to a satellite school for the University of North Carolina. Hand-wringing aside, this was a strange weekend to be a Carolina fan.

So, what better way to cope with loss than to talk about it?

Lets do that.

This week, we go hard in the paint (like our basketball teams should've) and stop being nice guys and start getting real. We dive deep on the basketball program, and answer questions like, 'can P.J. Dozier and Sindarius Thornwell co-exist on the court?' and 'why the Lady Gamecocks leading ladies might be holding them back'. Of course, we go wildly ‘off-course’ [bad pun] by discussing some random things like we always do, but we bring it all home by tackling our largest group of social media questions yet.
