South Carolina vs. No. 22 Texas A&M: Week 7 Injury Report

The Gamecocks are in a bit better shape this time around.

NCAA Football: South Carolina at Vanderbilt Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

The South Carolina Gamecocks continue their homestand when the No. 22 Texas A&M Aggies come to town tomorrow. Former and oft-injured Akeem Auguste is here to guide you through the final injury report, which is fortunately not quite as dire as it was last week.

Zero Augustes - Full go!

One Augustes - Should play, but won’t start

Two Augustes - Game-time decision

Three Augustes - Questionable

Four Augustes - Unlikely

Five Augustes - Out

A.J. Turner — Five Augustes

The junior running back suffered a concussion against Missouri and is still in the protocol, so he won’t be available tomorrow. Hard to say how much that will affect the running back rotation, since it doesn’t seem to have much of a rhyme or reason as it is.

J.T. Ibe — Five Augustes

The senior safety sprained his knee against Kentucky and is looking at a return after the bye week.

D.J. Wonnum — Five Augustes

The junior defensive end is still rehabbing a sprained ankle, but like Ibe, should return after the open date.

Jake Bentley — Zero Augustes

After missing the Missouri game with a banged up knee that he suffered against Kentucky, the junior quarterback practiced all week and is ready to start, according to coach Will Muschamp. Earlier in the week, Muschamp said he wouldn’t play Bentley if his mobility wouldn’t allow him to protect himself, so the coaching and training staff must feel comfortable with where he is in recovery. Seems likely he’ll still be sporting that giant brace he had on during warmups last week, though.
