Humbled after their fifth straight loss to Kentucky, the South Carolina Gamecocks will nonetheless return to Williams-Brice Stadium this week as 2-point favorites over the Missouri Tigers.
The line has been bet down ever so slightly since opening, as the Gamecocks were initially favored by 2.5.
The 3-1 Tigers are coming off a bye week, which was preceded by a 43-29 loss at home to No. 3 Georgia. Missouri hung in there against the Bulldogs, turning in a performance that was fairly even statistically with the exception of three turnovers. Prior to that defeat, Missouri picked up big wins over Tennessee-Martin (51-14) and Wyoming (40-13), and successfully got revenge on Purdue in a 40-37 thriller.
The over/under is set at 64.5. South Carolina is 2-2 against the spread this season, while Missouri is 3-1.
