Our original and regularly scheduled podcast this week was recorded several hours before the announcement came about Steve Spurrier's resignation. While the future of the program is in doubt, we were lucky enough to have former University of South Carolina tight end Andy Boyd join us on this special edition of the GABACast. Andy Boyd shared some of his favorite memories of Steve Spurrier, what the HBC meant to the program, how he ultimately changed the culture of South Carolina Gamecock football, and even gives us his favorite Lou Holtz impression. Andy also talked about what he expects from our Gamecocks the rest of the year and how he thinks Shawn Elliott will do as the interim head coach.
We at GABA and at the GABACast would like to thank Andy again for giving us some of his time and sharing his in-depth insight into the state of South Carolina football.
Go Cocks.
