The Gamecocks are 36-11 (16-7 SEC) after two bad games led to a series loss in Kentucky over the weekend. Despite the disappointing performance by the team in Lexington, South Carolina remains a consensus top ten team and is 5th in the NCAA RPI. The Gamecocks are back in Founders Park tonight to begin their final stretch of home games of the regular season.
Carolina will face the Blue Hose tonight for the 65th meeting between the teams. The Gamecocks lead the all-time series 45-19. The Blue Hose are 24-23 (10-11 Big South) and are coming into tonight’s game off of a series loss at Campbell over the weekend.
