After two games that more than lived up to the hype leading up to the series, Sunday's rubber game between South Carolina and Florida was unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather. The Gamecocks enter tonight's game against USC Upstate with a 34-9 (15-5 SEC) record and are still a consensus top ten team.
South Carolina and USC Upstate already faced each other once this season, with the Gamecocks beating the Spartans 12-6 in Greenville. That win improved the all-time series record between the Gamecocks and Spartans to a perfect 10-0 for South Carolina. The Spartans are 18-23 (1-10 Atlantic Sun) and enter tonight's game on a three-game losing streak after getting swept at Stetson over the weekend.
