Hunter Taylor puts South Carolina ahead with go-ahead double in the top of the 9th

The sophomore, who wasn't even supposed to start today, comes up big.

Hunter Taylor wasn't supposed to be in the lineup today. The sophomore got the start in place of John Jones - who was held out because he was late to a pregame team meal - and came in with one RBI all season long.

Well, make that two. Taylor's RBI double with one out gave South Carolina a 3-2 lead over Duke in the top of the ninth. It would turn out to be the game winner as the Gamecocks added a run later in the inning to beat the Blue Devils, 4-2.
