The Gamecocks fell to 7-5 over the weekend after an infuriating, heartbreaking series loss to Clemson. They’ll try to bounce back this week as they host two midweek games at Founders Park before their final non-conference series of the season.
The Citadel will visit Founders Park on Tuesday for the first game in this season’s home-and-home series with the Gamecocks. The Bulldogs are 3-7 and were swept last weekend by College of Charleston. The Citadel’s three wins came in a series victory over Delaware State and last week against Presbyterian. The Bulldogs are led on offense by Taylor Cothran (.320/.393/.360) and Jonathan Sabo (.293/.356/.366).
