The Gamecocks fell to 25-17 (10-11 SEC) over the weekend after their fifth SEC series loss in a row. They host the Wofford Terriers at Founders Park tonight before going on the road for a weekend series against LSU. Carolina has a 76-25-1 lead in the overall series with the Terriers and last lost to Wofford in 2012.
Wofford is 24-20 (9-6 SoCon) and is coming off of a weekend win over East Tennessee State. The Terriers have a good offense and several strong hitters in their lineup. They have two players with double digit home runs this season in Brett Hash (.326/.401/.577), who has 11 homers, and Mack Nathanson (.240/.350/.507), who has 10. Wofford has struggled with their pitching and defense though, and opponents are hitting .287 against them.
