#2 South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Vanderbilt Commodores
When: 9 p.m.
Where: Memorial Gymnasium, Nashville, TN
How to watch: SEC Network +
How to listen: 107.5 The Game
Three Point Preview
1. The Vanderbilt women enter tonight's matchup with an 11-3 overall record, and are 0-1 in the SEC after a 55-52 loss to Ole Miss on the road in Oxford. The Commodores other two losses came in back-to-back games against Dayton and Green Bay on the road. They are currently undefeated in Nashville, but haven't played the toughest of non-conference schedules.
2. South Carolina guard Doniyah Cliney is expected to make her Gamecock debut tonight. Cliney was forced to miss out on all of last year's action and the first part of this season due to a hand injury. The six foot high school standout from New Jersey was rated as the No. 13 guard in the nation for the 2014 class by ProspectNation.com. Along with Cliney's debut, the Gamecocks will get Asia Dozier back in the lineup after she sat out the Arkansas game.
3. Dawn Staley will use tonight's game as a measuring stick to determine how the team handles the adversity of playing a conference away game. The Gamecocks haven't been as dominate on the road as they have been inside the CLA, as seen most notably in a 3-point escape against UCLA back in November in Los Angeles. A win tonight will require a complete game from start to finish, as the Gamecocks look to come out running, something they didn't do against Arkansas in the first quarter last Sunday.
