“Thank you”: Sindarius Thornwell says goodbye in emotional Instagram post

We’ve shared a lot of memories with Sindarius Thornwell over the past four years, many of which have come during the team’s dream run to their first-ever Final Four. Much can be said about his career and what he’s done since stepping on campus in 2013 as a freshman from Lancaster, about an hour-plus drive north of the University of South Carolina campus.

While there’s a lot that will be written about Thornwell and his impact over the coming days and weeks it’s probably best for now - as we continue to reflect on this season - to hear from #0 himself as he thanks his fans, coaches, and fellow teammates for a memorable time in Columbia.

Not really much more to add to that. Thank you, Sindarius, for all the memories and for what you’ve meant to Gamecock nation. Wherever you end up, we all wish you all the success in the world.
