Another week, another noon (local time) start for the South Carolina Gamecocks; this time, it's against the Missouri Tigers out west. This is actually the second of three straight 12pm starts for Carolina as the LSU game will start at noon as well.
It will be a battle of two freshman quarterbacks as this amounts to basically a must-win for the Gamecocks if they are to have a good chance at getting an SEC East win and continue on the path to bowl eligibility. Lorenzo Nuñez, who had a strong game in his first career start against UCF, will be opposed by Drew Lock, called into action after Maty Mauk's suspension. Like Nuñez last week, it will serve as Lock's first career start.
The Gamecocks struggled in the first half against UCF last week before finally pulling away with a 31-14 victory at Williams-Brice Stadium. Mizzou wasn't so fortunate; they dropped a 21-13 decision to the Kentucky Wildcats on the road at Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington.
Here's how to watch the game on television, as well as on your device. As we always remind you to do, check with your local cable or satellite provider for your area's availability:
