Apparently Williams-Brice Stadium has had an effect on Florida Gators cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III. During the Gators' session at SEC Media Days, Hargreaves chimed in on his thoughts on playing in the venue.
Florida's Vernon Hargreaves ranks #UofSC his toughest place to play. "Their stadium is off the wall. It gets so loud." #SECMD15 #Gamecocks

He's only played there once (in his freshman year in 2013), and he's sure to remember the result: the Gamecocks nipped the Gators 19-14 with a pair of fourth-quarter field goals by Elliott Fry. He'll be back this year as Florida and new head coach Jim McIlwain visit the Gamecocks on November 14, the first of three straight home games to close out the season.
Depending on how things go come that particular game, the Gamecocks could be still in the hunt for an SEC East title or treading water. We, obviously, are hoping for the former.
By the way, check out Hargreaves' fade around the sides and the locks pointing upward. Good hair game, VH3. Good hair game.
