Recruitment
Coming out of Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Googer was heavily recruited and received a plethora of scholarship offers from foes such as Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina to lesser schools such as FIU, Indiana and South Florida. Click here to view the complete list. 247 considered Googer a three-star athlete and the 30th ranked player in the state of Georgia for his 2014 class.

College Career
After a high school career which saw Googer play a trio of quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back, he made the switch to full-time wideout once landing on campus in Columbia. The big bodied athlete has yet to see the collegiate field after he redshirted his freshman season.

2015 Outlook
It's no secret the receiving corps is thin at experience once you get behind the almighty Pharoh, so the door's open for a guy like Googer to come in and make a gargantuan impact for Carolina's passing game this season; a hope many fans carry with them heading into the season (Especially as the threat of injury becomes a minor reality). As of now, Googer is listed as the number two guy in the "B" receiver slot behind Carlton Heard and should get the chance and reps to prove he belongs on the first team during Fall practice.

Trivia
Googer isn't the only player on the Gamecocks roster to reign from Woodward Academy in the ATL. Can you name another? (Ample amounts of fictional points awarded for the correct answer!)
