Skai Moore Announces He's Staying at South Carolina for His Senior Year

The Gamecocks' standout linebacker has decided to stay in Columbia one more year.

Per his Instagram account, South Carolina linebacker Skai Moore has announced his decision to stay in Columbia for his senior year.

After many believed the Florida native would forego his senior year and enter the 2016 NFL Draft (fueled by an Instagram post from his barber, of all people,) it looks like Moore has changed his mind - likely swayed by the chance to play for a proven defensive mind like new head coach Will Muschamp and incoming defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson.

The 6'2 linebacker, who has appeared in all but one game during his career in Columbia, returns to the Gamecocks after notching 203 tackles and nine sacks in his last two seasons combined.

Moore's return should provide a major boost to the 2016 defense - a unit that struggled mightily over the last two years.
