Over 100 high school senior football players will participate in one of the country’s top showcases today as the 2017 Under Armour All-America Game kicks off at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. The 10th annual event will feature players like Gamecocks commit Jamyest Williams and targets Tony Gray and Aaron Sterling. I wrote about the game here early last week.
Five players will commit today, but the Gamecocks aren’t expected to hear their name called. Having said that, they’re in good position to get Sterling’s services right now and are pursuing Gray to get a big piece added to their offensive line.
A few of the Gamecocks’ future opponents will be in the spotlight as well. Top recruit (according to ESPN) Trey Smith (Tennessee) will be on the field today, along with #2 and #3-rated Isaiah Wilson and Robert Beal. Wideout Tee Higgins (Clemson) will figure into the action as well.
