South Carolina squeaked out a win at Tennessee, only the third in school history. Thanks to Chris Lammons, we made a goal line stand to improve to 5-2 heading in to our bye week, which not a lot people had us doing.
Anyway, these game balls probably aren't who you might be expected.
Tennessee Game Ball: Tyler Byrd
Heading in this week’s game, little used or known Vols WR decided to tweet this:
I just spent 30 mins trying to book a flight to “Fenton island” no air line recognized that destination I guess it doesn’t exist ♂️ ♂️— Tyler Byrd (@D1fuzzymuffin17) October 12, 2017
Rashad Fenton hasn't given up a TD in two years, and hasn't had his primary receiver go over 50 yards. That remained the same today.
This tweet summarized Tyler Byrd’s day:
Tennessee WR Tyler Byrd, the guy who called out Gamecocks CB Rashad Fenton before today's game, had zero catches.— Brad Crawford (@BCrawford247) October 14, 2017
Yeah, I hate Tennessee too much to actually give anyone associated with them any credit.
South Carolina Game Ball: Parker White
It’s hard to not give the game ball to the South Carolina defense; they played extremely well. However, for my man Parker White to go 3-3 on FG’s is something crazy. White is still perfect on the season for PAT’s and has only missed one field goal from the 40 in.
He’s now a 50% kicker and actually has a FG made that was from 47 yards. I honestly think he’s going to have a pretty good rest of the season, the guy has the leg to where he can kick it from anywhere. If his accuracy continues to improve, give the kid a scholarship.
Oh yeah, and Will Muschamp is still undefeated against Tennessee. Suck on that one Vols. #CocksBy90
