Three Point Preview

1. The Gamecocks beat Elon prior to the holiday break to improve to 12-0 and extend their home winning streak to 40 games. This is the second season in a row that the Gamecocks are undefeated entering conference play. The Gamecocks are looking to defend their SEC title and win another regular-season conference championship, and if they pull it off they'll be just the third women's basketball team to win the SEC three consecutive years.

2. South Carolina trails Arkansas in the overall series (the Hogs lead 17-14), but has dominated in recent years. The Gamecocks have won the last six meetings between the teams.

3. Arkansas enters this afternoon's matchup with a 5-8 record. The Hogs have faced two ranked teams already this season (Oregon State and Texas) and lost to both of them. Arkansas junior Jessica Jackson leads the team in scoring with an average of 17.4 points per game. No other Arkansas player is averaging double-digit points.
