Merry Christmas, everyone. There haven't been a whole lot of Gamecock-related links to share lately, but Christmas eve offered a surprisingly large bounty.

Danny Sheridan reports that Jadeveon Clowney has 12 to 1 odds of winning the Heisman Trophy in 2013:

Golson and Gamecocks talking again
Brandon Golson previously committed to South Carolina, but there was a mutual parting of ways after the Gamecocks picked up commitments from Larenz Bryant and Matt Rolin. With Matt Rolin flipping to Florida and Cedrick Cooper going down with an ACL injury, there is an immediate need at the linebacker position, causing Goloson to take a second look at the Gamecocks.
