SEC Power Poll Ballot: Week Seven

I've never been less confident in my ballot, so let me know if you disagree with anything.

1. Auburn Tigers

Can their offense be stopped? Cameron Newton is now a legitimate Heisman contender.

2. LSU Tigers

Another ugly win for LSU. Now we get to see if they're for real--they travel to Auburn this week. That game should be required viewing not only for what it means for the conference race but, also, because it will amost undoubtedly be one of the craziest games of the year.

3. Alabama Crimson Tide

It wasn't pretty, but 'Bama got its season back on track with a win over Ole Miss.

4. Mississippi St. Bulldogs

I'm not sure I really think they're this good, but the win over Florida has them looking like they might be ready to make a run.

5. Arkansas Razorbacks

Not a bad attempt at the upset considering they didn't have Mallett. Atrocious defense, though.

6. South Carolina Gamecocks

Possibly the biggest Jekyll-and-Hyde act in the conference.

7. Georgia Bulldogs

UGA suddenly looks like an SEC East contender again.

8. Florida Gators

Is it possible to do less with more than Steve Addazzio is doing right now?

9. Kentucky Wildcats

Kentucky got its biggest win of the season and has a favorable schedule coming up. Could they rise in the rankings?

10. Mississippi Rebels

Showed some fight against 'Bama, but it wasn't enough.

11. Tennessee Volunteers

Vandy's putrid performance against UGA gets the Vols out of the cellar.

12. Vanderbilt Commodores

Losing 43-0 to UGA is cellar-worthy.
