Well look at that. The Gamecocks done did it against Ole Miss as they took game 1 in the weekend series. The Gamecocks will look to move to 22-2 and 5-0 in the SEC tonight at 7:30 PM. You can find Friday night's game on SEC Network+ (blah).

And they did the dang thing! Braden Webb was dominant last night as he struck out 14 Ole Miss batters and the bats stayed hot in a 9-5 victory for the Gamecocks. The Gamecocks will go for their second straight SEC series sweep to open up conference play. First pitch will be at 3 PM Eastern Time on SEC Network (the real one).
