LB Kaiwan Lewis**** (6'2"/227/St. Joseph/Hammonton, NJ) declared his intentions to become a member of the South Carolina Gamecocks today. Lewis chose the Gamecocks over several programs, including Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and Tennessee. He is the 18th commitment for South Carolina thus far, putting the Gamecocks at the same total of current commits as elite perennial powers Texas and LSU. South Carolina and LSU each have 7 four-star recruits committed, while Texas leads the nation with 12.
