Frank Martin's basketball team came away with another frustrating, if not wholly unexpected, road loss to the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday. The Court Cocks (is that a thing?) will get yet another crack at their 5th SEC win on Wednesday when they play Mississippi State in Game 1 of the conference tournament.

Georgia QB to make visit to USC later this month
Tyler Harris of Blackshear is one of the quarterbacks that South Carolina is keeping tabs on in case they miss on Drew Barker. Both signal callers are expected on campus for the Gamecocks' upcoming junior day.

Blackshear lands another big offer, Snodgrass names a top five
2015 defensive end Shameik Blackshear grew up rooting for the Gamecocks but is keeping his options open for now. He picked up an offer from Florida State last week. Thaddeus Snodgrass has a top five of South Carolina, Penn State, Louisville, West Virginia, and Kentucky (in no particular order).
