Gamecocks in the NFL: Ryan Succop has another busy afternoon

A look at how former South Carolina players fared in the league last week.

K Ryan Succop, Titans: A week after kicking a game-winner, Succop scored all nine of Tennessee’s points in its 9-6 win against Jacksonville. He was 3-of-4 on his field goals, with a long of 39 yards, and missed a 48-yarder earlier in the game.

S Darian Stewart, Broncos: Stewart led Denver in tackles with nine, six of them solo, as the Broncos fell 27-14 to Baltimore.

S D.J. Swearinger, Redskins: Swearinger had two tackles, both solo, and a pass defensed for Washington in its big 31-17 win against Green Bay.

DE Melvin Ingram, Chargers: Ingram logged one tackle, which was a tackle for loss, and also had a pass defensed for Los Angeles in its 35-23 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

TE Jared Cook, Raiders: Cook was third on the team with five receptions on six targets for 31 yards in Oakland’s 28-20 loss to Miami.

WR Bruce Ellington, Texans: Ellington notched a reception for 10 yards in Houston’s 27-22 loss to the New York Giants.

DE Jadeveon Clowney, Texans: Clowney had three tackles, all of them solo, for Houston after taking last week off due to injury.

CB Stephon Gilmore, Patriots: Gilmore logged four tackles, three of them solo, as New England fell 26-10 to Detroit in a surprising result.

DB Johnathan Joseph, Texans: Joseph notched two tackles, both solo, for Houston.

RB Mike Davis, Seahawks: Davis grabbed one catch for seven yards in Seattle’s 24-13 win over Dallas.
