The South Carolina Gamecocks got some more good news on the NFL front on Tuesday night, when star wide receiver Bryan Edwards made the call to return to Columbia for his senior season.
Enjoy y’all Tuesday nights. You can stop asking me now. pic.twitter.com/X3YhW7ELIL

In 2018, Edwards caught 55 passes for 846 yards and seven touchdowns, good for second on the team behind Deebo Samuel. It was his most productive season yet as a Gamecock, and his career total of 2,229 yards is sixth on the program’s all-time receiving list. The big-bodied Edwards will likely be the Gamecocks’ go-to option at receiver next season, alongside Shi Smith.
In addition to Edwards, quarterback Jake Bentley and offensive lineman Donell Stanley also decided to spurn the NFL in favor of returning to South Carolina.
