At this point in the season, the South Carolina Gamecocks are bruised and beaten — physically as well as mentally, no doubt. There aren’t really any surprises on this week’s injury report, but South Carolina will have to play Texas A&M without one of its most reliable playmakers for the second straight week. Former and oft-injured cornerback Akeem Auguste is here to give you the details.
Zero Augustes - Full go!
One Augustes - Should play, but won’t start
Two Augustes - Game-time decision
Three Augustes - Questionable
Four Augustes - Unlikely
Five Augustes - Out
Tavien Feaster — Five Augustes
The Gamecocks will once again be without one half of their dynamic backfield duo, as the running back is still rehabbing a groin injury. After rushing for 27 yards against Appalachian State, this isn’t exactly what you want to see.
OrTre Smith — Five Augustes
The wide receiver is out again with a knee issue after having offseason surgery and finally starting to work his way back into the rotation. Really unfortunate setback for him.
A.J. Turner — Five Augustes
Man, you have to hate a hamstring pull. The cornerback/running back is still sidelined with one he suffered close to a month ago at this point.
Shi Smith — One Auguste
Finally, some good news! The wide receiver missed the past couple games with a hamstring pull of his own, but should be good to go according to coach Will Muschamp.
