On Monday, Summerton (SC) Scotts Branch athlete Jerell Adams pledged to the Gamecocks. Adams informed both Clemson and South Carolina, his two finalists, of the decision earlier today. The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder, who was selected to the 2010 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas, selected South Carolina over Clemson, Alabama, Arkansas, and other ACC and SEC programs.
