Women's Hoops Ranked No. 1 in AP Poll

After a pair of dominant wins, the Gamecocks are the country's top-ranked team for the first time in school history. After beating both Clemson and San Diego State by more than 50 points, Dawn Staley and South Carolina's women's basketball team moved into the No. 1 spot in the AP Poll released today. The team is on their way to the Bahamas for the Junkanoo Jam, where they'll face off against Wisconsin before taking on either East Carolina or Syracuse. The game against the Badgers is set for Thursday at 4:15 p.m. and live video will be available on the Junkanoo Jam website.
