South Carolina enters this game badly in need of a win, and in about the worst possible position to get one - reeling from two straight SEC losses with the Kentucky Wildcats coming to town. Use this thread for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game thoughts on the sold-out contest. Dick Vitale is in the house, which means it's even better if you have tickets instead of having to watch the Kentucky lovefest on television.

South Carolina's 1-4 in SEC play and dangerously close to falling completely out of contention for an NCAA bid, particularly given that the conference doesn't have a lot of great opportunities to pick up great wins. Of course, Carolina still has four opportunities to pick those up against Kentucky (starting today) and Arkansas - each of whom they play home and away - but that also means they have four great chances to pick up losses. They'll need to win some games they shouldn't; otherwise, a season full of promise will end in disappointment relative to the heightened expectations that came with the win over Iowa State in Brooklyn.
