Welcome to the new Garnet and Black Attack!

You may have noticed that a little (well, a lot) has changed here at Garnet and Black Attack. The fresh coat of paint you see has actually been in the works for a while, but it’s more than a new look. (More info on what all went into it can be found here, but you’ll notice some performance adjustments, quicker loading times, and further enhancements to make the site better.)

We’ve always been about celebrating fans here at GABA, and we feel that this relaunch (you’ll still get the same great content you’ve come to expect from us - with some fresh things hopefully on the horizon!), along with .com’s recent relaunch, further enhances that. Our goal has always been to do right by South Carolina fans and the people that visit this site each and every day.

That leads us to this question: Why are you a South Carolina fan?

We want you, the reader, to tell us your stories and why you love the Gamecocks. Here’s how you do that: go to garnetandblackattack.com/fanposts and write a FanPost 800 words or less with the headline “Why I’m a fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks” telling us why you love the Gamecocks and about the story of your fandom. The best ones will be shared on our social media channels (Facebook and Twitter). All FanPosts will automatically be entered in a network-wide contest in which one random reader will win a $500 Fanatics gift card!
