South Carolina gains commitment from 3-star DE Kingsley Enagbare

#SpursUp! The Gamecocks get their first defensive end commitment for the 2018 cycle.

It took longer than many would have liked, but the South Carolina Gamecocks finally have a defensive end committed in the 2018 class. Three-star Atlanta product Kingsley Enagbare announced on Wednesday evening that he will play college ball in Columbia for Will Muschamp.

Enagbare had a host of 17 schools to choose from, including programs like Georgia, Penn State, Auburn and Tennessee. He becomes the 16th player in the class of 2018 and the fifth recruit to commit to South Carolina in a week.

He joins JUCO prospects Jabari Ellis and Dantrell Barkley as the third defensive lineman in the class. Tyreek Johnson, a defensive end out of Sumter, was a 2017 signee but will essentially be a part of the 2018 class after grayshirting last year.

At 6-foot-4 and nearly 260 pounds, Enagbare is ranked as the No. 21 strong side defensive end in the nation by the 247 Composite.
