Weekend discussion: Which opposing team’s tradition annoys you the most?

We’re just asking the important questions here.

Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Since the start of football season is tantalizingly close and yet still so far away, I figured it’d be fun to toss out some weekend discussion topics in the meantime as we count down the days until kickoff. We’ve got nothing better to do, right?

This week, the inaugural subject for debate is opposing team traditions — specifically, which ones are the most annoying. I wanted to pose this question for two reasons: First, it’s good for a friendly back-and-forth without tearing our own traditions apart (because frankly, I don’t know who isn’t tired of hashing out the arguments for how good or bad “Sandstorm” is by now). Secondly, who doesn’t love having a little fun at the expense of USC’s rivals?

So, without further ado, I’m going to open the floor to y’all. What’s the most aggravating SEC tradition? The Tennessee band’s inability to play anything besides Rocky Top? The propensity some Georgia fans have for barking? Texas A&M doing...well, the myriad bizarre things Texas A&M does? Last but certainly not least, we can’t forget about the behavior of our furry orange friends. Let’s hear it!
