Garnet And Black Attack is looking for writers

Football is almost back. That makes this the perfect time for you to join our team at Garnet And Black Attack and cover the Gamecocks with us.

Garnet and Black Attack is looking for three writers to help cover Gamecocks sports and news. The primary focus will be football, but we’d like to bring on writers who are willing and able to write about Gamecocks basketball and other sports as well. What does the role entail?

These writers will be responsible for writing about the Gamecocks on agreed upon topics and schedules. These are part-time, remote, contract roles compensated with monthly stipends.

What qualifications should you have?

Our best candidates will:

• Have a passion for the Gamecocks and will already be familiar with Garnet and Black Attack.
• Be able to produce and edit clean copy.
• Be comfortable working in a remote environment.
• Previous sportswriting experience is preferred.
