Gamecocks in the NFL: Week 2

Checking in on the Gamecocks who did go pro in sports.

Jaycee Horn, CB, Panthers: Horn, the Panthers’ first-round pick earlier this year, got his first interception for Carolina, returning it 13 yards.

Deebo Samuel, WR, 49ers: Samuel once again led San Francisco’s receiving corps, this time with 93 yards on six catches and eight yards on two carries, though he was held out of the end zone.

Javon Kinlaw, DT, 49ers: Kinlaw had a quiet season debut for SF, logging just one tackle.

Ryan Succop, K, Buccaneers: Succop went 6-for-7 on his extra points with no field goal attempts for Tampa Bay.

Mike Davis, RB, Falcons: Davis led Atlanta in rushing with nine carries for 38 yards, adding 25 yards on seven catches.

Hayden Hurst, TE, Falcons: Hurst had just a catch for seven yards.

Joseph Charlton, P, Panthers: Charlton punted four times for a total of 160 yards, with a long of 51.

Jadeveon Clowney, DE, Browns: Clowney logged three tackles, including one for loss, and two quarterback hits against Houston.

Rashad Fenton, DB, Chiefs: Fenton grabbed a pair of tackles for Kansas City.

Bryan Edwards, WR, Raiders: Edwards had three catches for 40 yards for Las Vegas.

D.J. Wonnum, DL, Vikings: Wonnum logged just a tackle for Minnesota.

Melvin Ingram, DL, Steelers: Ingram had four tackles, including a sack and one for loss, as well as three quarterback hits in a productive day for Pittsburgh.

Taylor Stallworth, DE, Colts: Stallworth logged a pair of tackles for Indianapolis.
